All universal electrics come with full universal instructions. These instructions will tell you what function to connect the electrics to on your vehicle, however every type of vehicle has different colours in the vehicle.

Vehicle specific electrical kits are specific to that vehicle.

All universal electrical kits are provided with a buzzer unless they have a by-pass interface relay. If you have a by-pass interface relay then a buzzer is containted inside the relay.

May vehicle specific electrical kits will not contain any audiable warning device as they are intergrated into the vehicles systems and will bring up a warning light or message on the dashboard in the event of indicator faluire.

In nearly all cases it will not require a vehicle specific kit. Many people for example have been told of the technical wiring on the last Vauxhall Vectra and that it needs a vehicle specific kit, this is not the case while a great VSK is available a by-pass relay allows you to fit universal electrics.
